About Us

Marzocchi started in 1949 with two brothers and a futuristic motorcycle that put Ducati on the map. On the heels of their early success, the Marzocchi brothers opened up their own workshop and set out to crack the code on motorsports suspension. And crack it they did. By the 1950s Marzocchi’s suspension was winning championships and Ducati, Ferrari, KTM, Lotus, Lamborghini, and Maserati were all-in on Marzocchi. Then, in 1989—mountain bikes. The brothers saw the possibilities and released the Star Fork in ’90, the Bomber in ’96, the Monster T in ’97, and the Z2 in 2000. Marzocchi had pushed the sport, and the technology behind it, to another level.

After more than 70 years of pioneering suspension, Marzocchi was sold to Tenneco in 2008. Tenneco moved production to Taiwan, at which point quality took a nose dive. Meanwhile, competition gained ground and Bryson Martin, Marzocchi’s face and leader, left the company. In 2015, Tenneco shut down Marzocchi, but fate stepped forward in the form of a FOX acquisition.

Headquartered in Scotts Valley, CA, FOX designs and manufactures high-performance ride dynamics products primarily for bicycles, side-by-side vehicles, on-road and off-road vehicles and trucks, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, specialty vehicles and applications, and motorcycles.
