Marzocchi and the best downhillers of the world

Marzocchi recently achieved a sale and sponsorship agreement for the 2003 race season.

Marzocchi recently achieved a sale and sponsorship agreement for the 2003 race season with two very well known french bike brands, Lapierre and Commençal. The Commençal Team, headed by the 15th time Downhill world champion Anne Caroline Chausson, the best downhiller woman of the world will be equipped with Marzocchi forks. Also the team of “Lapierre” will show a “star”, Nicolas Vouilloz, 10 times Downhill World Champion who will ride in the Lapierre team and will help the French brend in developing new bike models .The two best downhiller in the world will race this year with Marzocchi forks.

Orange plans to relaunch its legendary Patriot downhill bike in 2012. Three years ago it got replaced for all downhill competitions by Orange’s Alpina. After three years of iterating tests and improvement, next year a new Patriot will come to the market, rolling with a Marzocchi 66 fork.

Part of the Bike Festival in Willingen, the Crema Cycles Short Track Race took place as another stop of a series for MTB, Singlespeed, 4X and XC riders. Because of the relatively long track, this is not really a reace for sprinters.
