The Spanish Downhill Championship: Marzocchi’s riders score twice in Girona

The Spanish Downhill Championship arrived in Catalogna with the stage in the city of Pau, near Girona, which has returned in the list of the Championship circuits for the first time from 2008.

17th June – The Spanish Downhill Championship arrived in Catalogna with the stage in the city of Pau, near Girona, which has returned in the list of the Championship circuits for the first time from 2008. The circuit, which is one of the biggest racetrack in Catalogna, is characterized from the dry bed and the roughness of the ground. Riders of the Massi Team, Bernat Guardia and Ivan Oulego, both equipped with Marzocchi’s fork, dominated the qualifies on Saturday and the race on Sunday, prevailing on the opponents. The next competition will see the Massi Team tied up in Andorra on 30th June, before the coming back in Spain for the National Championship on 7th and 8th July.
