One of the most beautiful races of the European series was staged last weekend in Pila. The cup’s penultimate race attracted 320 riders from 15 countries. Apart from a demanding and perfectly primed course, the event boasted a perfect organization and racing on a top level.
The third round of the French Cup saw the craziest of weather... Oz-en-Oisans, where Tahnée had previously put in an amazing time in the Spint Avalanche a few weeks ago, turned into a complete mudfest, with the organisers having to change the course as it was deemed too dangerous.
Marzocchi wants it all! USA rider Brian Lopes claims sixth Carnkworx Air DH Win and the French rider Anne Caroline Chausson (winner in Enduro race and Garbanzo DH) takes 1st in Air DH. Superpower!
Gatto kicked off the week with a Gold in Dual Slalom taking out favourites Emmeline Ragot and Jill Kintner. Bryson followed with a stomping victory in the Giant Slalom for junior men. Both Micayla and Bryson were on the podium again respectively in Pump Track and Air DH.
