Marzocchi leadership at the Bike Transalp Challenge

Marzocchi showed their Leadership at the Transalp, the MTB marathon which ended on saturday 27th in Riva del Garda (Italy).

Marzocchi showed their Leadership at the Transalp, the MTB marathon which ended on saturday 27th in Riva del Garda (Italy). Three countries, eight stages, 569 kilometers , about 19.700 meters in elevation gain, 406 teams involved in one of the hardest MTB marathon of the world. Big success in all the categories. The german biker Karl Platt, equipped with the new Marzocchi Marathon won the Men category. In addition, the Rocky Mountain Marzocchi Team (Lesley Tomlinson e Gretchen Reeves )was the fastest in the Women category. Great performances for all Marzocchi riders. Another proof of the quality and the reliability of the Marzocchi suspension, which enable the bikers to overcome the difficulties and to reach the best results in the extreme condition.

In a very windy final, Marzocchi endorsed athlete Sam Pilgrim was able to throw a sick run that secured him a spot on the podium.

24 nations came together in Czech Spicak. Spicak was able to prove again that the discipline of downhill is professionally organized and very popular in the eastern part of Europe.

For the 15th time the “Absolute Abfahrt” (= Absolute Downhill) took place within the iXS German Downhill Cup in Ilmenau, Germany. 450 riders from 13 countries participated the iXS event.
Great result for the Froriders Brett Tippie, Richie Schley and Wade Simmons for getting 2nd place at the Deep Summer Photo Challenge in Whistler!
