Today, we introduce a wonderful article published on the review named “Motociclismo d’Epoca” (“Vintage Motorcycling”), which shows one of the most significant models, result of the partership between the two companies: the F1. This is the vehicle which laid the fundations for the following birth of models equipped with engines with four valves, which subsequently stood out (and which still command respect) on the Superbike Championship. The F1 came into the world in the mid-1980’s and it can boast about a palmares of results in which come into sight victories as the first place in the “Battle of Twins” in Daytona on 1986 and, in the same year, the double – place in the “200 Miles in Imola”. The F1, provided with the glorious desmodromic engine with two valves of 748 cm3, was equipped with a Marzocchi’s telscopic fork provided with 42 mm stems, Marzocchi’s plates and an anti – sinking system which was adjustable on 4 positions.
