News from MS Mondraker: Emmeline Ragot finished second in Hafjell, gaining the overall second position

September 17th - Here is the report of the last UCI Worldcup race, sent us by the team MS Mondraker, which – as usually – managed to score some very exciting results!«We have been in Hafjell for the finals of the 2012 UCI MTB worldcup. It was the first time for us racing in a Scandinavian country since a long time. We didn’t know what to expect except a thrilling women’s race as there was still a chance for Emmeline for the win in the UCI worldcup overall. The impressions of the course walk were good and all the riders really liked the track. Even the weather conditions weren’t that good throughout the week, we expected good weather and air conditions for race day. Qualifying wasn’t too good for the MS Mondraker squad. We haven’t had good runs and so Emmeline qualified in 3rd, Damien in 27th, Markus in 48th and Brook in 49th with a crash. On race day we progressed a lot. Emmeline started with a 2nd place, which brought her into 2nd place of the UCI overall, Markus had with a 9th place another top 10 result this season, Brook came down in 14th place and finished the season in 7th overall and Damien got 23rd and finished 21st in the UCI wordcup overall. The team got 2nd in the days ranking and finished in 2nd place of the team worldcup overall ranking».
