Both Kaos and Tahnée, from the Follow My Dream team, managed the top step of the podium at the Morgins Big Ride over the weekend. It's a great, relaxed race that is held on 4 different tracks in the Morgins Bike Park. 1 run on the Blue, then Red, then Black and a 'surprise' course at the end of the day - times are cumulative. Morgins has some stunning scenery with fantastic trails built and maintained but the legendary all-round MTB good guy Ben Walker - he was in charge of the courses this weekend and, after a very wet day on Saturday, each course was running really well on Sunday. Kaos was the youngest there and in the 13-14 age group. He had a huge crash in his first run and ended up 4th but on his second run had a stormer making up huge time, and after another great race in the third round (although he did hit a tree), he just had to cruise the last 'surprise' one to take win.

Ben saw Kaos leave (who was leaving?, ndr) the start hut for the last race and as he had been watching him all weekend, wanted to follow his run so grabbed his bike - crossing the line both Ben and Kaos had huge grins - Kaos for the win and Ben for following someone so young, fast and loose! Tahnée wanted to work on her pedalling this weekend and decided to take it easy on each track but really push it on the pedal sections. It was all going smoothly until the last 'surprise' track where after a head down pedal she came too hot into a corner and found herself hanging onto a tree branch over a massive drop! She still managed to win each round and take the overall Women's title. Mission accomplished... both of them stoked on being on the top step and Tahnée feeling great going on to Val d'Isere for next weekend. The team thanks everyone and especially those who have supported Tahnée for so long - it has allowed her to help Kaos who is really starting to come out of her shadow and shine in his own light.
