Transalp Challenge 2004

This year Marzocchi took part again with some famous riders in the Transalp Challenge 2004 that started the 17th of July from Mittenwald (Germany) and finished the 24th of July at Riva del Garda (Italy).

TS_big.gif This year Marzocchi took part again with some famous riders in the Transalp Challenge 2004 that started the 17th of July from Mittenwald (Germany) and finished the 24th of July at Riva del Garda (Italy). 1074 riders from 29 countries rode through 4 nations and a new exciting location in Swizterland for 662,29km.
 
The winner Karl Platt (Rocky Mountain Team) rode with the new Marathon Race. This light fork is now available for MY 2005.
 
The women team Reeves Gretchen and Tomlinson Lesley (Rocky Mountain) also finished with a good 2nd place.
 
The locations of  the hardest mountain biking race of the world were:
 
Mittenwald(Germany), Imst (Austria), Ischgl (Austria), Scuol (Switzerland), Naturns (Italy), Meran (Italy), Kaltern am see (Italy), Folgaria (Italy), Riva del Garda (Italy).

Lorenzo Sudding, endorsed by Marzocchi, won again in Monti (Sardinia) The AXO ProGest SCOTT team's captain Bruno Zanchi, unfortunately, was stopped because of a hard fall.
