Great satisfaction keeps going on for the Torpado Surfingshop team, thanks to the performance of Serena Calvetti
August 3rd - Great satisfaction keeps going on for the Torpado Surfingshop team, which conquered the fifth position in the UCI cross country run, held in Val d’Isere during the last week end of July, thanks to the performance of Serena Calvetti, equipped with a Marzocchi Corsa Carbon 29” fork. While the race was won by the swiss rider Jolanda Neff, Serena did a great job, adopting a very smart strategy; she started slow to better understand terrain condition, and then she began to push hard. Among Člite athletes, Torpado’s rider Andrea Tiberi gained the thirty-seventh poisiton, due also to the very slippery conditions of the terrain. The team had some bad luck in the downhill comptetition, since Marco Vilivinti, during the race on Sunday, lost the control of his bike and hit a picket, falling down. He rose up, but lost too many times and finished up in seventy-fifth position.
