Leogang: great results for the Marzocchi riders in the IXS Cup. Genon won the slopestyle contest.
The austrian round of IXS Cup, held in Leogang during the past week end, hosted a great performance from riders equipped with Marzocchi forks.
May 29th – The austrian round of IXS Cup, held in Leogang during the past week end, hosted a great performance from riders equipped with Marzocchi forks. In the élite men category the New Zealander rider Brook Mac Donald, conquered the third place in front of his team mate, the French Damien Spagnolo. Emmeline Ragot, part of the MS Mondraker team too, took an even better result in the women class, arriving second after Rachel Atherton, who won the race. The slopestyle 26Trix contest, held in Leogang too, was won by Thomas Genon, equipped with a Marzocchi fork too. All together it was a race weekend as no other with perfect weather, breathtaking sports performances, uncountable spectators and a worthwhile atmosphere. The iXS European Downhill Cup will be heading to Scotland's Innerleithen from 15th to 17th June. More information can be found as usual at www.ixsdownhillcup.com.
