October 22nd – The Superenduro championship 2012 closed brilliant in Finale Ligure on the last weekend, crowning the season winner. The weekend was characterized from an atmosphere of big competitiveness and partecipation and the athletes equipped with Marzocchi, as usually, bossed the show. Many foreign riders took part to the competition, therefore confirming the Superenduro championship as one of the most important International circuit. The English Dan Atherton, who won all the five special events, dominated the scene, but this time the target wasn’t only a weekend made of races, but a full championship, and there was the need of crowning the winner. In the male category the winner was “our” rider Davide Sottocornola, under the Cicobikes Enduro team on a Ibis, who had already the victory in the bag, after a season always at the top. Beyond the success in the overall ranking, Davide ended the championship conquering the second placing in the race in Finale Ligure. Honourable mention also for the other athletes equipped with Marzocchi, Andrea Bruno and Vittorio Gambirasio, who gained the third and fourth placing in the final ranking. The athletes equipped with Marzocchi run with 55 Micro TI M-Works, which demonstrated their good quality on all the race fields, from the mud in Pogno to the dry ground in Valchiavenna.Appointment to the next year for new great emotions with the Superenduro!
