Marzocchi is the Marathon World Champion thanks to the Greek Ilias Periklis

October 8th – Last MTB Marathon World Cup race took place on the past weekend in Ornans, France. The race, vied in the worst weather and course conditions, was won by the Greek Periklis Ilias, who runs in the Italian team Protek, already winner, during the season, of an UCI Marathon Series stage, in Laissac. During the first part of the race Periklis stored a great advantage against his competitors, reduced at last because of a puncture, which didn’t invalidate the final result even so. The German Moritz Milatz arrived second and the Czech Kristián Hynek third. Periklis is equipped with Marzocchi Corsa SL Carbon fork, provided with MWorks setup, characterized by a 100 mm excursion and remote at the handlebars.
