Cross Country: Marzocchi will support the brand new team Controltech

Umberto Corti doesn’t hide his satisfaction for a team which is little but which will be able to get an important place in the Italian panorama.

On the occasion of ExpoBici in Padova, the new Controltech Nevi was presented to the public. To do the honours was personally Umberto Corti, who is the top rider in the new team, which will have among its ranks Gioele Bertolini e Miriam Corti. The team rises from Umberto Corti’s idea and passion. To give body to the project has been without doubt fundamental the support of Nevi, Italian company which produces high – level titanium frames. Umberto Corti doesn’t hide his satisfaction for a team which is little but which will be able to get an important place in the Italian panorama.

The Nevi titanium frame will be custom – made for each athlete. Among the components, a specific importance will be given to the fork: a Marzocchi Corsa Carbon 29”. This will be a team which will aim to the Cross Country in 2013. «In  Italy - says Umberto Corti - not everyone believes in Cross Country, but in the world it is recognized as the queen of the disciplines. Our target will be clearly to make a good impression thanks above all to Gioele Bertolini, who has already had a lot of success this year winning the European in the relay team and conquering the second placing in the XC Italian Championship in Lugagnano».
