RACING IN THE RAIN - Team AXO Scott Progest at the DownHill DF Sport Specialist in Petosino

The 3rd DownHill DF Sport Specialist took place on June, 5th in Petosino (Lombardy). This race is valid for the Lombardian championship. 115 racers among whom athletes from the AXO Scott Progest team stood out. The weather conditions were not optimal with rain showers and sun shafts alternating the whole day.

Team AXO Scott Progest at the DownHill DF Sport Specialist in Petosino Nevertheless, the team captain Bruno Zanchi ended first in
the first round (2’59”33), just ahead pupil Francesco Colombo (3’04”94).
The second round started with a much dryer and faster track, but not for
the last 15 riders that ran up against a light rain. Penalized by the rain
was Bruno Zanchi (3’03”45) but thanks to his positive morning result he was
still able to win the race.
Great performances in general for all the team's athletes.
